For undergraduate and independent students seeking to study a semester in Italy. Students may attend either the Fall or Spring semester. The Florence School of Fine Arts offers a unique selection of classes providing an in depth study abroad experience. Students may choose to do coursework in Studio Arts, Italian Culture Studies, Italian Language, Art History and Humanities. All courses are accredited and can be applied to the home school degree.
Most students select 4 classes of study in either the Fall or Spring semester. Undergraduate students in good standing at any college, university, or art school are invited to apply to our Academic Semester Abroad Program. Independent US or international students who meet equivalent standards are also encouraged to apply.

Academic Year Abroad
For undergraduate and independent students seeking a remarkable opportunity for an academic year abroad. This program allows students to participate in the rich cultural life of Florence and gain a deep understanding of Italian art and culture. Students may choose to do coursework in Studio Arts, Italian Culture Studies, Italian Language, Art History and Humanities. All courses are accredited and can be applied to the home school degree. Most students select 4 classes of study per semester.

If you are an undergraduate student in good standing at any college or university, you are eligible to apply.
If you are not currently enrolled in a college or university, are a non-traditional student or would like to spend your Gap Year at FSFA you are also eligible to apply.

Admissions
General Admissions Policy
It is the policy of the Florence School of Fine Art that no person shall be subject to discrimination because of age, race, creed, color, sexual orientation, handicap or national origin. Students must be a minimum of 18 years old to attend the Florence School of Fine Art.
Experience Florence
Florence is an incredibly beautiful city often called "the birthplace of the modern world". It offers an amazing sensation of "seeing" and feeling": with the sheer magnificence of the Duomo, the incredible collections of the Uffizi, Galleria dell'Accademia, the frescoes in the Capella Brancacci, and literally hundreds of smaller sites, churches and palaces which contain several centuries of an electrifying history and culture.
